The agreement will see the Castle Donington-based independent group remarket a minimum of 2,000 units a year through Manheim auctions, with the first lot scheduled for Wednesday, July 7th.
The two businesses have had a long-term commercial relationship at several levels for many years, with Available Car a keen volume buyer at Manheim auctions. The new contract will give Available Car experience of selling at Manheim Auctions, with remarketing volume coming from across its four physical centres in Cannock, Castle Donington, Leeds, and Sutton-in-Ashfield.

Michael Bell, chief executive officer at Available Car, said of the partnership: "We know Manheim very well from our longstanding experience as a buyer. We have witnessed first-hand their efforts to help businesses dispose of stock at the highest price with the lowest days to sell. This reassured us that they would be the ideal remarketing partner for our business.
"Manheim’s end-to-end remarketing approach is extensive and ensures that all of our stock disposal needs are being met to a high level."
James Leese, chief customer officer at Cox Automotive, added: "Available Car is a hugely respected brand in the industry, and we are delighted that they have selected us to support their remarketing needs. Like Manheim, Available Car is an innovative business that adapted quickly to the challenges of Coronavirus by expanding its click-and-collect capacity and has enjoyed extraordinary demand since showrooms reopened.
"As Manheim continues to lead the market with innovative remarketing solutions in its centenary year, it is privileged to work with partners such as Available Car that truly help us continually evolve."
Available Car is a family-owned business established for 20 years, with four physical car supermarkets situated across the UK, supplemented by an online enquiry and click-and-collect facility which caters for all corners of the UK. The company recently celebrated its busiest ever week of sales following the easing of lockdown restrictions, selling 302% more cars than the weekly average.
